The permanent exhibition, which opens in February 2023, offers a comprehensive narrative on over 50 panels that takes a critical and multi-perspective look at the tanks.
The German Tank Museum is definitely worth a visit! The exhibition is informative and very comprehensive. (…) A big thank you to all the hobby commanders and employees who make this museum an experience.Carolin Peschke

About the museum
The DPM deals with the history of German tanks from their origins in the 19th century to the present day. It thus deals with a topic of great relevance: organized violence is one of the most important topics in history; mechanized violence is a central theme of the 20th and 21st centuries. The DPM is the only museum in Germany with this thematic focus.
